Consultant.
Collaborator.
Connector.

I'm a generalist who has worked across the for-profit, non-profit and business arenas. I have experience managing multi-million dollar grants and working with high net worth and high profile individuals. I am as at home organizing a happy hour as an industry Summit. I love to work on teams and I relish the opportunity to assist a group of driven leaders in carrying out an audacious vision.
What my work looks like:
Four past projects described the way I would describe them to you on a call: the situation, what I did, and the outcomes. Clients are named where they have agreed to be.
CASE STUDY 01. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT. STRATEGIC ADVISING. UNDER THE CATEGORY OF CONSULTING CLIENTS.
THE SITUATION
With tens of millions of dollars of funding on the line and complex funder dynamics at play, I was called by the board of a large non-profit. Their executive director had left the agency, and several projects were at risk including a $20 million dollars grant.
WHAT I DID
Immediately began repairing relationships with funders and working with interim leadership to assess legal and financial pitfalls for the outstanding programs. Over the course of a year we righted the ship, developed new systems for managing invoicing, sub-recipient monitoring and grant reconciliation. The funding, which had been at risk, was saved and successfully deployed.
A $20M grant saved, relationships with funders and elected officials repaired.
CASE STUDY 02. COALITION BUILDING. CONCEPT EXECUTION. UNDER THE CATEGORY OF PERSONAL BUSINESS VENTURES.
THE SITUATION
Leadership development conferences are built around one temperament: loud, fast, and always-on. Introverted and neurodivergent professionals are expected to adapt to that room, not the other way around. I recognized an opportunity to re-envision what it means to gather from the ground up.
WHAT I DID
Founded and built The Slowdown Summit from the ground up. The Summit took place on April 27th, 2026 at the Columbus Museum of Art. It was uniquely designed around how our audience actually works and learns, not how conferences are usually run. The event was a massive success on most fronts and pioneered a new format for gathering.
A ground-breaking event envisioned and executed by a scrappy team.
CASE STUDY 03. STRATEGIC ADVISING. RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT. OPERATIONS. UNDER THE CATEGORY OF CONSULTING CLIENTS
THE SITUATION
I was approached by a team that had set a date for a Summit and had promised funders it would be taking place. The event was unplanned and just six weeks away. The organizers asked if I could assist with every aspect of the planning: fundraising, program development, and day-of production.
WHAT I DID
I began with the list of contacts and relationships already involved in the planning. I reached out to them, generated an agenda alongside the primary organizers, met with all the speakers and developed the holistic plan for the event. The Summit took place successfully, drawing a 150 person crowd as well as a sizable virtual audience.
A multi-state Summit brought from zero to fully produced in six weeks.
CASE STUDY 04. TEAM AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT. OPERATIONS. UNDER THE CATEGORY OF PERSONAL BUSINESS VENTURES.
THE SITUATION
In 2020, I was approached by two colleagues who were establishing a mission-driven consulting firm called Sunday Creek Horizons. I was asked to join as the third member of the team, initially at an operations level and later on as an owner.
WHAT I DID
Over the course of four years, we grew Sunday Creek Horizons from three founders to a total team of fifteen. I spent the majority of those years as our Vice President of Operations. I managed our benefits, Human Resources and personnel, a web of public official and private sector relationships, and took on all of our "weirder" projects. I exited the firm after four years.
